Bullying happens all around whether you've seen it or not. It happens through words, text, online, and physically. Even no words can hurt, too. Anyone can be a bully, or be bullied. It could start from the day you were born, to the day you die. Knowing this, we have decided that we want to make a change.

It can all start here, If we work together and make everyone realize what's going on all around them. It's a scary world out there, but if we all pitch in, we could make the world a better and brighter place. Of corse, it won't happen over night, but together, little by little, we'll hopfully make people realize how much bullying can affect so many live or even worse, end them.

Operation Purple Sky was inspired from the song Purple Sky by Greyson Chance. The song is about bullying and is also a tribute to the lives taken away from us due to suicide. A very important lyric of the song is:

"You are beautiful just like the purple sky

This might sound a little confusing at first, but THINK:

A normal sky is a blue sky, but a purple sky is different, beautiful and unique in it's own way.

This song is a reminder to kids, teenagers, adults, the elderly, literally anyone, that things will be okay and that you aren't alone. But most importantly, that you are beautiful just like the purple sky.

In the end of the song, Chance sings names of those who have lost their lives to suicide due to bullying.

The song gives off a great message, and we were truly moved by the words of it.

Being inspired, we wanted to share this beautiful message and remind others that it's okay to be different, it's okay to feel a little sad, and that things are going to get better.

Remember,

you are beautiful just like the purple sky.
